Job Description

The Learning Experience #124 is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, the Assistant Director will be responsible for driving the financial and operational performance of our center, while also leading customer engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:Business Operations and Leadership
  • Drive Financial Performance: Analyze and reconcile monthly P&L statements, create action plans based on past performance and forecasted occupancy, and drive financial growth.
  • Manage Labor and Staffing: Approve final work schedules to ensure appropriate ratios, hire outstanding talent, and ensure the center is fully staffed with high-performing teachers.
  • Forecast Enrollment: Use data to forecast future enrollment based on annual graduation rates.
  • Manage Center Inventory: Oversee the management of center inventory, including office supplies, food, curriculum, and staff recognition items.
  • Manage Vendor Relationships: Organize facilities maintenance and technology support, and ensure accurate and precise parent billings, account receivables, and collections.
Customer Engagement
  • Execute Marketing Campaigns: Implement local marketing activities and execute marketing brand campaigns within the center.
  • Build Community Relationships: Develop new relationships with community and business leaders, and oversee the Work and Family program.
  • Engage with Parents: Effectively use social media channels for parent engagement and retention, and nurture leads through scheduling and conducting tours.
  • Lead Tours and Presentations: Highlight key features of our brand and the center, and maintain strong connections with potential customers.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years' experience in retail/store management or a related field.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability with a minimum of 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing sales setting.
  • Ability to leverage data to understand the business and make decisions.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
