Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Audio Visual Technician to join our team at Outsource. As a leading provider of low voltage and electrical talent, we have been placing candidates of all levels with the right companies since 1998. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in the audio visual or low voltage industry, specifically with commercial/residential experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for running electrical wiring, drilling, trenching, and aerial runs, as well as installation, service, testing, troubleshooting, or programming of numerous Audio Visual Systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and maintenance of Audio Visual Systems, including Crestron, Extron, AMX, Smartboards, etc.
  • Operation of test equipment, such as Volt Meter, Ohm Meter, Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, Multi-Meter, and Impedence Meter
  • Management of a crew of technicians and helpers
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
  • Working knowledge of audio, video, control, and communications systems
  • Strong background in electronics and low voltage integration or solid job history/tenure working for an established A/V contractor
  • Audio, video conferencing, or control equipment manufacturer certifications a plus (Polycom, AMX, Crestron, NEC, Bi-AMP, etc.)
  • Experience running/leading a crew of technicians
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in the audio visual or low voltage industry
  • Commercial/residential experience
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
  • Working knowledge of audio, video, control, and communications systems
  • Strong background in electronics and low voltage integration or solid job history/tenure working for an established A/V contractor
  • Audio, video conferencing, or control equipment manufacturer certifications a plus
