Retail Sales Representative

Role Overview

If you are an individual who thrives on taking initiative and achieving success independently while fostering strong connections with retail staff, this position may be an excellent fit for you. In this role, you will be tasked with promoting a variety of products, including dairy items such as yogurt and milk, within your assigned area. Responsibilities will encompass merchandising, establishing new product displays, directly selling from these displays, and efficiently managing your territory (a valid driver's license is essential). Additionally, you will qualify for travel and mileage reimbursements.

Key Responsibilities

As a member of our organization, you will:

  • Utilize technology to collect and report data from store visits using a company-issued device.
  • Ensure all products are adequately stocked, properly displayed, rotated, and accurately priced in designated stores. Conduct audits as necessary.
  • Work closely with management to achieve goals and promptly communicate any observations related to product and customer needs at the store level.
  • Act as a representative for the client by identifying sales opportunities and building strong relationships with store managers.

Required Qualifications

  • Willingness to travel to various locations with a valid driver's license and the ability to drive for extended periods.
  • Familiarity with technology such as smartphones and handheld devices to follow guidelines and set up displays.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 60 pounds and a readiness to engage in physical activity.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to accurately interpret instructions.
  • Previous experience in Retail or Sales is advantageous but not essential.
