Job Summary:

We are seeking a Retail Clerk to join our team at Aunt Millie's Bakeries. As a Retail Clerk, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining the operational efficiency of our store. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Showing comprehensive product knowledge to customers
  • Transporting products from the loading dock to the sales floor
  • Ensuring proper rotation and stocking of products
  • Pricing items accurately
  • Processing monetary transactions proficiently while operating the cash register
  • Engaging with customers daily, helping and making product suggestions
  • Maintaining a neat and orderly work environment in both the sales floor and the back room
  • Performing opening and closing store duties, including operational tasks and cleaning responsibilities

Requirements:

  • Proficient in both independent and team-oriented work environments
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Skilled in multitasking between sales floor and back stock responsibilities
  • Demonstrates exceptional attendance reliability
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Possesses basic math skills for accurate product counting and register operation
