The Loan Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting both Real Estate and Commercial lending operations. This position involves collaboration with internal teams, current and prospective clients, as well as external partners such as title agencies, insurance providers, and regulatory bodies. Key responsibilities include assisting with the administration of real estate and consumer loans.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and oversee loan documentation, including credit assessments, collateral agreements, and financial statements.
  • Conduct basic underwriting tasks and submit loans for secondary market evaluation.

  • Follow up with borrowers regarding underwriting requirements, manage loans nearing maturity, and address modifications/extensions.
  • Provide administrative support to lending personnel, including calendar management, appointment scheduling, and travel coordination.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a thorough understanding of banking products, policies, and compliance regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in banking, specifically in loan support or processing, is preferred
  • A minimum of three years in an administrative role is preferred
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in writing and editing
  • Must be eligible for bonding
