Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Daily Shop Inspections and Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of our manufacturing equipment to identify and address any potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Exposure to Metal Fabrication and Welding: Work with a variety of metal fabrication and welding techniques, including Stick, MIG, and TIG welding, to ensure the highest quality products.
  • Ability to Weld Aluminum and Steel: Demonstrate expertise in welding both aluminum and steel to meet the demands of our manufacturing process.
  • Perform Tasks in a Safe Manner: Prioritize safety above all else and ensure that all tasks are completed in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Comply with Safety Rules and Company Policies: Adhere to all safety rules and company policies to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Set-Up and Get Molds Ready for Each Mold Change: Prepare molds for production by setting up and getting them ready for each mold change.
  • Maintain Thermoplastic Molds to Ensure Consistent Quality, Output, and Yield: Ensure that thermoplastic molds are properly maintained to meet the high standards of our manufacturing process.
  • Complete Daily Mold Change Sheets and Other Required Paperwork: Accurately complete daily mold change sheets and other required paperwork to maintain accurate records.
  • Complete/Participate in Any and All PPS Activities as Directed by Supervisors: Participate in all PPS activities as directed by supervisors to ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing process.
  • Communicate Effectively with Production Team Members, Team Leaders, Engineers, and Inspectors: Collaborate with production team members, team leaders, engineers, and inspectors to ensure the highest quality products.
  • Troubleshoot Issues with the Molds: Identify and resolve any issues with the molds to minimize downtime and ensure the highest quality products.
  • Perform Preventive Maintenance on Injection Mold Tooling and Prior to Mold Changes: Perform regular preventive maintenance on injection mold tooling and prior to mold changes to ensure the highest quality products.
  • Troubleshoot Any Problems Involved with Mold Changes: Identify and resolve any problems involved with mold changes to minimize downtime and ensure the highest quality products.
  • Remove and Install Hot Runner Service: Remove and install hot runner service as needed to ensure the highest quality products.
  • Support Engineers with Tool Design Reviews on New Builds: Collaborate with engineers to review tool designs on new builds to ensure the highest quality products.
  • Ability to Determine Feasibilities of Engineering Changes During Design Review: Evaluate the feasibility of engineering changes during design reviews to ensure the highest quality products.
  • Must Have Own Tools: Possess the necessary tools to perform the duties of the job.
