We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Neuro Step Down Unit at WVU Medicine. As a Registered Nurse on our team, you will provide exceptional care to patients with complex neurological conditions, including stroke, epilepsy, and brain tumors.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care using evidence-based practices and protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor and manage patients' vital signs, medications, and treatments.
- Provide education and support to patients and families on disease management and self-care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of West Virginia or compact state.
- One year of experience in a critical care or neuroscience setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
