We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician CPhT to join our Order Entry Team at Clinical Solutions LLC.


Clinical Solutions is a leading provider of pharmacy services, shipping out 35,000 plus prescriptions a day to over 400 correctional facilities in 26 states. As a Certified Pharmacy Technician CPhT, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our order entry process.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Courteously assist all internal and external customers
  • Process prescription orders based on priority assigned
  • Enter new and refill orders in a timely and accurate manner
  • Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA
  • Comply with all state and federal guidelines regarding medication labeling
  • Calculate and verify correct dosage based on prescription
  • Assist with pharmacy workflow fulfillment duties to meet production needs
  • Consult with dispensing pharmacist regarding prescription order clarification, non-stock items, order entry problems or concerns
  • Complete all data fields according to pharmacy procedures including use of approved abbreviations
  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned by Pharmacy Supervisor


Requirements:

  • Basic math and analytical skills
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Prefer Pharmacy Technician CPhT certification
  • Dependable in attendance and job performance
  • Licensed Pharmacy Technician in Tennessee
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Prefer 1+ years' Pharmacy Technician experience
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and be flexible
  • Excellent organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail
  • Ability to perform tasks accurately and efficiently when inputting information
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to organize and prioritize to maintain productivity
  • Possess the ability and initiative to plan for and complete daily activities with minimal direction
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment criminal background and drug screening process


Physical Demands:

  • May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and walk intermittently during the day
  • May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day
  • May be necessary to work extended hours as needed
  • Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required
  • May need to lift twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion
  • Visual acuity to see and read fine prints
  • Must be able to hear normal voice sounds


Clinical Solutions LLC offers a competitive compensation package, including a starting hourly rate of $21 for a Certified Pharmacy Technician CPhT.
