About the Role

CALIBRE Systems Inc., a leading Management Consulting and Digital Transformation company, is seeking a skilled Benefits Advisor to support our client at a major military installation.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of adult learning theories and be able to apply this knowledge to deliver high-quality training programs to transitioning Service members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct standardized VA Benefits and Services Briefings to support the Transition Assistance Program (TAP)
  • Provide one-on-one engagements, pre-separation counseling support, and military life cycle (MLC) events
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute training programs as a Senior Benefits Advisor
  • Deliver established curriculum and training tools, ensuring course content and delivery methods align with established training objectives
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or 3 years' equivalent work/military experience
  • Preferred emphasis in Training, Education, Career Counseling, or HR
  • Appropriate certifications
Preferred Skills
  • Understanding of VA benefits programs
  • Knowledge of the military and experience working with military clients
  • Understanding of current veteran issues and challenges pre- and post-transitions
  • Experience using Microsoft Office suite of tools
  • Strong customer management and support skills
  • Experience delivering interactive workshops and training to live audiences
