About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Maintenance Engineer to join our team at CFG Bank Arena, a world-class concert and entertainment venue in the heart of Baltimore. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of skilled and semi-skilled work to maintain all physical aspects of the facility, ensuring OSHA compliance and working cooperatively with other departments to assure facility readiness and smooth operation of events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform painting, flooring, carpentry, masonry, glass repair, and construction as directed at a highly skilled level.
  • Conduct daily inspections of the facility to detect malfunctions and/or needed repairs.
  • Complete routine preventive maintenance for facility maintenance equipment.
  • Assist with facility projects such as new construction and maintenance of shops in a clean and organized manner.
  • Work with Maintenance Supervisor to prioritize work orders and manage materials to complete works by deadlines.
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with all departments, outside contractors, clients, employees, and guests.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED and five (5) years of full-time related experience at a facility/commercial building.
  • Skilled and semi-skilled in maintenance and repair in carpentry, painting, and plumbing.
  • Demonstrated skill use with all common hand tools, power tools, meters, and equipment typically utilized in facilities maintenance.
  • Basic computer skills (inclusive of email and CMMS system).
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
