We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Vinyasa Yoga Teacher to join our team at YogaSix - Oak Park. As a Vinyasa Yoga Instructor, you will be responsible for creating a dynamic and motivating class experience that showcases your personality and skills while adhering to our studio's standards and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Arrive to the studio a minimum of 20 minutes prior to class start time to prepare for the class.
  • Establish a personal connection with each student to create a welcoming and inclusive environment.
  • Design and deliver a high-quality Vinyasa Yoga class that is engaging, empowering, and fun for students of all levels.
  • Set up the practice room with the necessary equipment, mats, music, and lighting to create an optimal learning environment.
  • Provide exceptional instruction and guidance to students during class, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Follow up with students after class to provide feedback and support their continued growth and development.
  • Maintain a clean and organized studio space, adhering to our studio's standards and guidelines.
  • Contribute to building a strong and supportive community among students and staff.
  • Communicate proactively with the team to ensure classes are covered in the event of an absence.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 200-hour Yoga Alliance certification.
  • Outgoing personality with a strong desire to provide exceptional client service.
  • Ability to connect with students on a personal level and create a sense of community.
  • Willingness to grow and develop as a yoga teacher, remaining a student forever.
  • A sense of humor and ability to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach a safe, fun, and creative Vinyasa Yoga class with a genuine interest in the success of all students.
  • 1+ years of teaching experience preferred.
  • Current CPR certification.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to walk through the classroom freely to demonstrate postures and transitions, monitor students' movements, and provide hands-on adjustments as needed.
  • Physically able to lift and carry 1-10 lb. equipment.
  • Strong verbal skills, proficient in speaking and understanding English.
