About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Cake Decorator to join our team at Sam's Club. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning and delicious cakes that exceed our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be a Team Player: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of bakery operations, including production planning, inventory management, and quality control.
  • Be an Expert: Develop and maintain expertise in cake decorating techniques, including piping, fondant work, and sugar art. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations in the industry.
  • Be a Problem Solver: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cake production, including ingredient quality, equipment maintenance, and customer complaints.
  • Be a Communicator: Effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management to ensure that their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Be a Quality Control Specialist: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that all cakes meet our high standards of taste, texture, and appearance.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 6 months' experience in a fresh production area
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards
Preferred Qualifications

Cake decorating experience and knowledge of cake decorating techniques are highly desirable.
