Position Overview

The role of the Application Systems Analyst is pivotal in managing and optimizing enterprise applications. This position focuses on implementing effective information systems and operational workflows that support essential organizational functions. Key responsibilities include validating and testing application performance and availability, as well as overseeing technology projects that enhance business outcomes and operational efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the administration of enterprise applications, ensuring seamless functionality and support.
  • Utilize strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve application and operational challenges.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to pinpoint areas for improvement and define project requirements.
  • Design, develop, implement, document, analyze, test, and modify various computer systems and applications, including ERP systems, CRM platforms, LMS, and database systems.
  • Work closely with Technology Services teams and vendors to maintain operational standards and meet service level agreements.
  • Provide backup administrative support and training to Technology Services colleagues.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and third-party service providers, serving as a primary contact for technical support.
  • Adhere to industry standards and best practices, including ITIL frameworks.
  • Participate in mandatory training sessions related to security, discrimination, and code of conduct.
  • May require providing 24/7 system support and performing duties remotely as needed.
  • Complete additional job-related tasks or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications
Education:
Associate's degree in a relevant field is required, or a commitment to obtain a degree.

Experience:
Preferred experience of one to two years in a similar role.

Skills:
Proven ability to apply technical knowledge and problem-solving skills effectively.
