Job Summary:

ABM Industries is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with contract requirements, developing and implementing cost control measures, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Coordinate service activities, ensure services are performed as contracted, and maintain profit margins.
  • Supply Chain Management: Control supplies, equipment, and personnel to meet customer specifications.
  • Customer Relations: Interact with customers daily to obtain feedback and troubleshoot potential problems.
  • Quality Control: Manage quality control monitoring and safety programs, conduct inspections, and implement process changes.
  • Financial Management: Analyze and manage financial and operational performance, ensure accurate payroll, and correct discrepancies.
  • Leadership: Manage and provide leadership to Supervisors and Lead personnel, direct work, appraise performance, and address complaints.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma/GED required, Associates degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in a service/customer-oriented environment, experience in cost estimating/pricing work, and knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.
  • Skills: Strong communication and leadership skills, ability to write reports and business correspondence, and valid Driver's License.
