Job Title: NICU APRN/PAJob Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate NICU APRN/PA to join our team at Connecticut Children's. As a key member of our neonatal care team, you will provide high-quality patient care, education, and support to families in our Level III NICU.

Responsibilities
  • Medical Knowledge and Procedures: Develop and apply advanced medical knowledge to provide comprehensive care to newborns and their families.
  • Patient Care: Conduct thorough evaluations, develop care plans, and provide education to patients and families.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare teams and provide empathetic care to patients and families.
  • Practice-Based Learning and Improvement: Stay current with evidence-based practices and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate degree in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited program.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a NICU setting or related field.
  • Licensure and Certification: Current licensure as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant in the state of Connecticut or New York, and certification in neonatal resuscitation.
