At HonorVet Technologies, we are seeking a highly skilled Associate Electrical Engineer to support and sustain Instrument Manufacturing activities and facilitate efficient operations within the production environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in all aspects of electronic design, from the initial feasibility stage to manufacturing release for next generation diagnostic equipment.
  • Provide technical skills in the areas of schematic design, analysis, debug, and PCB layout.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful design, development, testing, and implementation of both product and process changes in support of quality, obsolescence, design improvement, and cost reduction improvements.
  • Optimize existing processes to ensure established production goals are achieved.
Primary Duties Include:
  • Resolve technical problems on the production floor.
  • Support the non-conformity process to identify root cause of failures on parts and coordinate corrective measures.
  • Identify quality issues and manage resolutions across multiple departments.
  • Complete change management activities to introduce changes to the production floor.
  • Define, review, and check production Bill of Materials (BOM) structures, assembly instructions, and test procedures for use on the production floor.
Requirements:
  • BS in Electrical Engineering with 1-2 years relevant work experience.
  • Experience in the design and development of electronic systems with proven ability to design and troubleshoot electrical systems.
  • Knowledge of project software (MS Office Suites - Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of electronic CAD systems.
  • Knowledge of quality systems.
