About the Role


We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at CareNow. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring that our diagnostic imaging services meet the highest standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Taking vital signs, collecting lab specimens, performing EKGs, and administering IM injections
  • Performing all x-ray/imaging services according to provider orders and updating patient charts accordingly
  • Collecting patient history and documenting Electronic Health Records (EHR) appropriately
  • Applying splints, dressings, and bandages as needed
  • Assisting with check-in/check-out procedures, including auditing charts
  • Maintaining records and logs on activities, including radiology, in-house lab work, drug screens, and lab work sent out to other labs
  • Keeping patients and visitors informed of clinic progress

Requirements

  • 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is preferred
  • Experience using an EHR system is beneficial
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Assistants or completion of an approved program (BOTP) is required
  • Radiological Technologist (RT) or Limited Practical Technologist (LPT / LMRT), license is required in state of residency
  • Current certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) is preferred
  • Current BLS Certification is required within 30 days of start
  • Must obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion
