About the Job

Join our dynamic team at Center for Human Development, Inc. as a Jail Diversion Program Coordinator and Therapist.

The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work with adults in jail or recently released, providing vital support and therapy to help them transition back into their communities.

This is an exciting chance to make a lasting impact in the lives of individuals struggling with mental health issues while experiencing the beautiful scenery of Eastern Oregon.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and screen adults and adolescents in need of mental health services.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions in the Union County Jail and at CHD facilities.
  • Collaborate with jail staff, community partners, and circuit court officials to ensure seamless referrals and service delivery.
  • Participate in crisis team rotations to provide backup support for night-time and day-time crisis workers.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree in a social science field is required.
  • Supervision is available to pursue licensure.
  • CADC or willingness to pursue certification is a plus.
  • Experience in MRT, forensic community-based collaborative treatment is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills and knowledge of assessment and treatment planning are essential.
  • Computer literacy and ability to work in a team environment are also required.

This is a full-time exempt position with an attractive salary range of $5,426.34 - $7,683.71 (non-licensed) or $5,740.68 - $8,833.57 (licensed) per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
