Compensation:
$18.50/hr

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with food quality and safety regulations as per established quality standards and Safe Quality Food requirements.
  • Verify that all products meet specified standards by analyzing raw materials, syrup batches, and treated water.
  • Conduct chemical and physical assessments on raw and intermediate materials, including packaging, to determine their acceptability.
  • Maintain precise and clear records of all tests and retests conducted.
  • Collaborate with various departments to enhance quality, boost efficiency, increase yields, and eliminate substandard or damaged products.
  • Assess finished products against current standards through audits to ensure product and packaging integrity.
  • Monitor process control parameters to guarantee proper equipment operation through secure seal, closure torque, and seaming checks.
  • Uphold cleanliness in the laboratory environment.
  • Undertake special projects and additional duties as assigned by senior management.
Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficient in computer applications.
  • Skilled in Excel, Word, SAP, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Organized, detail-focused, and adaptable to change.

Work Environment:

  • Physical: This role requires frequent standing or walking, along with the ability to lift and handle moderate-weight materials.
  • Visual/Sensory: Regular attention is needed, utilizing one or two senses at a time.
  • Work Environment: The nature of the work is repetitive, though tasks may vary daily.
  • Mental Stress: The position involves significant pressure from deadlines, production targets, and accuracy requirements.
