Senior Nursing Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Nursing Assistant to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society. As a Senior Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, promoting their physical and emotional well-being, and supporting their independence.
Responsibilities- Provide resident-centered care, including daily living assistance, bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing/undressing.
- Assist residents with meals and snacks, provide water and supplements as needed, and create a positive dining experience.
- Collect non-invasive body fluid specimens, gather vital signs, and document resident interactions and outcomes.
- Participate in departmental committees and task forces as needed, and contribute to the development of restorative nursing programs.
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.
- Minimum age of 16.
- Two years' clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing.
