TalentBridge is looking for a proactive individual to step into the role of Senior Financial Analyst, where you will be instrumental in overseeing and coordinating IFRS audits while ensuring the accuracy of financial operations throughout our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee audit processes for IFRS audits, liaising between external auditors and various internal teams.
- Collaborate with external auditors to address any audit-related inquiries and challenges that may arise.
- Support the annual audit cycle for the Benefit Plans, which includes the preparation of standalone financial statements.
- Collect, prepare, and analyze documentation for both external and internal audits.
- Refine existing project workflows to enhance precision, efficiency, and effectiveness in daily operations, ensuring that project goals are achieved.
- Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with external auditors and internal colleagues to foster open and timely communication.
- Assist with additional tasks undertaken by the Audit Services team, such as audit closing presentations and management reports.
- Investigate and document technical accounting matters.
- Conduct internal control assessments.
- Engage in special projects as assigned.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- CPA certification or actively pursuing CPA licensure
- 2-3 years of experience in public accounting audit
- Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments
- Excellent organizational capabilities
- Detail-oriented with robust analytical skills, risk awareness, and a comprehensive understanding of processes and controls
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Capacity to collaborate effectively with colleagues across various levels and functions
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills
