About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join our team at Orange Park Medical Center. As a Cath/EP Tech, you will play a critical role in providing top-notch medical care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in procedures and cardiac device implantations performed in the Cath/EP Lab
  • Prepare patients appropriately for invasive procedures according to policy
  • Circulate, monitor patients during Cath Lab procedures, and perform sterile scrub procedures for diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, vascular procedures, and other cardiac procedures
  • Stock and document supplies, patient billing, and coding of procedures
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Associate degree preferred
  • A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification required
  • A current American Heart Association ACLS certification or American Red Cross ALS certification required
  • Georgia: Current ARRT or RCIS credentials required. South Carolina: RCIS required (Trident: has 1 year to obtain RCIS). Florida: RCIS required
  • 1 year of experience (will not consider New Grads)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Bachelors Degree, or Associate Degree
