We are seeking a seasoned Corporate Communications leader to join our Corporate Practice in Chicago. As a trusted advisor, counselor, and business partner, you will work closely with clients and prospects across various industries to develop and execute integrated communications strategies that protect and drive corporate reputation and value proposition narratives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Serving as a trusted advisor, counselor, and business partner to key client contacts
  • Maximizing business potential and advancing great work through masterful orchestration of high-performing integrated teams
  • Driving development of tactical plans, translating strategies into tactics, and ensuring team deliverables align with strategies
  • Leading the client service function for program planning, problem-solving, and strategic counsel
  • Mentoring, coaching, and supporting team members to ensure constant development of their skills
  • Effectively managing staff utilization to meet profitability targets
  • Anticipating and proactively offering solutions to senior team leadership for executional issues specific to assigned programs
  • Building and owning productive relationships with multiple client stakeholders, interagency teams, client's business partner organizations, and a diverse array of agency colleagues
  • Representing agency points of view clearly in writing, formal presentations, and informal client meetings and workshops
  • Maintaining financial responsibility for accounts

Requirements include:

  • 9+ years of experience in Corporate Communications, Corporate PR, and/or agency experience strongly preferred
  • Strong background in corporate communications
  • In-depth knowledge of reputation management and a working knowledge of traditional and non-traditional media
  • Self-starter, resourceful, and passionate about driving great results while building strong, productive relationships with clients and your team
  • Collaborative spirit, results-driven, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work against deadlines
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills, experience developing and delivering client presentations
  • Experience leading (and winning) new business efforts, including casting appropriate teams, driving deck and presentation development, and seamlessly integrating strategy, creative, and execution into a compelling proposal
  • A history of success in providing sound creative and strategic counsel to clients and building credibility with senior-level client contacts
  • Demonstrate the ability to think strategically, creatively, and holistically about client programs
