Job Summary:

We are seeking an organized and energetic Service Coordinator to join our team. As a Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining an effective dispatch system, scheduling shop work to facilitate maximum productivity, and prioritizing and controlling all comebacks.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain an effective dispatch system.
  • Schedule shop work to facilitate maximum productivity in accordance with dealership policy and technician skill level required.
  • Prioritize and control all comebacks to ensure proper and prompt attention.
  • Ensure proper repair order documentation, including complaint, cause, and correction noted on every repair order with punch time for each operation.
  • Review job status frequently, logging status and reporting any change in time or estimates to the appropriate service advisor.
  • Maintain an organized and up-to-date repair log.
  • Review hard copies of repair orders turned in by technicians to ensure that assigned work has been performed and the repair order has been completed properly.
  • Ensure technicians follow warranty material disposition procedures.
  • Communicate job status with the next shift supervisor.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings.
  • Maintain a clean work area.
  • Maintain a professional appearance.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record acceptable to our policies.

Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year.
