About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Support Specialist to join our team at The Physicians Spine and Rehabilitation Specialists. As a Clinical Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals in their daily tasks.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ months of medical office experience and be able to multitask with ease. They will also possess excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Escort patients back to exam rooms in a timely manner.
  • Taking and recording vital signs and medical histories.
  • Assisting physicians during examinations as directed.
  • Preparing and ordering prescriptions as requested by physicians.
  • Utilizing EHR for documentation purposes.
  • Scheduling appointments, tests, procedures, and/or surgery following all scheduling protocols.
  • Responding to clinical phone calls.
  • Obtaining urine drug screens from patients.
  • Assisting physicians and administrative staff as requested.
  • Operating the C-arm in the procedure room when needed for procedures done in the Physicians Surgery Center.
