Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Technician to enhance our manufacturing quality processes within a fast-paced medical device production setting. This role encompasses the manufacturing, evaluation, and testing of devices for design verification, validation, and commercial production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Quality Engineers to ensure all products, processes, and components meet established specifications.
- Work in conjunction with team members on production lines to uphold quality standards and project objectives.
- Conduct inspections of components, materials, devices, and related documentation.
- Exhibit self-motivation and independence, demonstrating strong organizational, time management, and communication abilities.
- Effectively manage multiple priorities and drive assigned tasks to completion.
- Utilize critical thinking and analytical reasoning to make informed, risk-based decisions.
- Maintain a keen attention to detail in all aspects of work.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a role related to Manufacturing or Quality Control within the medical device sector.
- Familiarity with compliance standards and regulations such as 21 CFR 820 and ISO 13485:2016 is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel) is required.
- Educational Background: Associate degree or equivalent experience in Manufacturing, Quality, Mechanical, or a related engineering/life sciences discipline.
