About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at Intrepid USA. Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Financial Analysis: Develop comprehensive financial analysis and decision support to bridge the gap between capability requirements and budgetary decisions.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert, driving the alignment between capability requirements and resource allocation.
  • Executive Leadership Support: Provide critical insights and recommendations to executive leadership to support strategic decision-making.
  • Process Integration: Serve as the key link between the JCIDS and PPBE processes, ensuring seamless integration and alignment.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial matrices.
  • Financial Performance Improvement: Recommend strategies and initiatives to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor junior financial analysts, providing guidance and development opportunities.
Requirements
  • Active SECRET Clearance: Must have an active SECRET clearance.
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and 18 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree and at least 10 years of relevant experience in strategic financial analysis and decision support, particularly in the context of JCIDS and PPBE processes.
  • Proven Track Record: Proven track record of providing critical insights and recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
  • Leadership and Mentorship Skills: Strong leadership and mentorship skills, with the ability to build and develop high-performing teams.
  • Communication and Presentation Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey financial information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM): Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) certification is highly desirable.
