Role Overview:
As a High Value Commercial Service Lead, you will collaborate with senior management to mentor and implement the complete Client Engagement Cycle. Your focus will be on embodying the department's philosophy of 'sales, service, operations' through every client interaction. Your aim is to deliver exceptional, personalized service to our clientele. You will address and resolve client inquiries while providing expert guidance on a range of products and services, including Treasury Management, Online Banking, Bank Accounts, loans, commercial cards, File transfer and Data Exchange, among others. You will liaise with various internal departments, such as the Preferred Banker support system, Relationship Managers, Treasury Management, Cards, Bank Operations, and IT, to enhance client satisfaction. You will facilitate a career development journey for the team, enhancing banking knowledge to foster effective solutions and career advancement opportunities by meeting and surpassing departmental metrics, conducting training sessions, and showcasing expertise through client and team interactions. You will prepare and present reports to internal stakeholders and clients throughout the year, incorporating client activity, current solutions, structural setups, and recommendations for additional products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and sustain client relationships by establishing trust, thoroughly understanding client needs, offering tailored advice, and managing the entire client lifecycle through thoughtful solutions and an outstanding client experience.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to provide interdisciplinary expertise, driving business results and acquiring new assets from both existing and prospective clients.
  • Ensure that proposed solutions align with clients' short, medium, and long-term objectives through a comprehensive, goals-based planning approach.
  • Oversee and manage the distribution of tasks within the designated team, facilitate cross-training opportunities, and provide management with reports on production, turnaround times, and other key performance indicators.
  • Ensure the team meets service level standards, including sales, customer service, turnaround time, risk management, regulatory compliance, audit integrity, and overall productivity and efficiency. Monitor individual team member progress on their career development journey to support their professional growth and ensure optimal client support for all inquiries.
  • Assist leadership in developing and executing strategic business initiatives driven by data analytics, which may involve change management techniques with other internal departments, while staying updated on Bank products and fulfilling other assigned duties.
  • Lead and nurture a team, participating in hiring, coaching, performance management, training, and development initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in banking or a related field, or an advanced degree.
  • 2+ years of post-secondary education and relevant professional or internship experience, or an advanced degree.
  • Product Knowledge: Foundational understanding of banking products or related business software.
  • Self-motivated, energetic individual who is adaptable and open to coaching.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment with evolving responsibilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to personal development.
  • Consistently strives for excellence in client experience.
  • Ability to quickly fulfill client needs by delivering complex solutions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for both internal and external audiences.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Previous leadership experience preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
