Job Title: Weekend Robotic Automation Specialist

This is a unique opportunity to join the Hobson & Motzer team as a Weekend Robotic Automation Specialist. As a key member of our production team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our automated systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and Repair Automated Equipment: Identify and resolve issues with automated equipment, PLCs, robots, and vision systems to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance: Establish and execute preventative maintenance schedules to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal performance.
  • Monitor and Adjust Automation Systems: Continuously monitor and adjust automation systems to ensure they are operating within established parameters.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with production team members to resolve issues and improve overall production efficiency.
  • Document and Review Maintenance Data: Accurately document and review maintenance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Meet Department Goals: Work towards meeting departmental maintenance goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Electronics and Mechanical Knowledge: Possess a strong understanding of electronics, mechanics, and test equipment.
  • Electrical Background: Have a background in electrical systems and Arc Flash training.
  • Availability: Be available to work weekends, including Saturday and Sunday.
  • Education: Hold a high school diploma or technical school diploma, or equivalent.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
