Job Summary

The University of Illinois Foundation is seeking a highly skilled Digital Engagement Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Donor Services department, you will be responsible for planning and executing a multi-channel digital engagement and outreach program to support and partner with University of Illinois units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Digital Engagement Strategies: Administer the Foundation's digital engagement program, working closely with units to understand their donor outreach needs and suggesting best practices for developing a donor engagement strategy.
  • Liaise with University Advancement Units: Act as a liaison between University advancement units and other Foundation resources to define information needed for successful digital outreach programs and ensure the timely addition of that information to the UIF database.
  • Track and Analyze Performance Reports: Track daily, weekly, semesterly, and annual performance reports out of the software system, sharing updates with units and Donor Services managers and using the performance reports to suggest changes and build additional strategies for higher engagement of donors.
  • Provide Training and Support: Create documentation to support the use of UIF digital engagement platforms, train and supervise Engagement Center SDRs in Digital Outreach Programs, and cross-train with Engagement Center staff to provide uninterrupted service to all campus partners.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Knowledge: Grow in industry knowledge related to donor digital engagement, continuing to build their knowledge of available platforms and suggesting additions and changes when necessary.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree required, with a preference given for degrees in business, marketing, communications, and information management.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to develop productive and sustained relationships with diverse groups and individuals within an organization as well as outside partners and vendors.
  • Technical Skills: Proven working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and ability to work on a tight deadline with a high level of efficiency and accuracy.
