Position Overview:
This role involves preparing detailed estimates for construction restoration projects while actively marketing to potential clients, including insurance adjusters and end users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with prospective clients, including national accounts, insurance adjusters, and end users.
- Develop a network and evaluate qualified subcontractors across various trades.
- Conduct site visits to provide estimates for rebuilding structures following a loss.
- Analyze project details, define the scope of work, and create comprehensive estimates.
- Collaborate with insurance representatives and clients to review estimates and project scopes, securing necessary approvals and preparing documentation to initiate projects.
- Maintain effective communication and coordinate schedules with operational teams until project completion.
- Address any issues that arise during project execution in consultation with local management.
- Ensure resolution of quality concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee adherence to payment protocols and follow up with clients and insurance companies until all payments are finalized.
- Generate various status reports, including activity updates, project closures, follow-ups, and goal adherence; report on significant developments and insights gathered from field activities.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in estimating software, with a preference for Xactimate.
- Understanding of production processes, including raw materials, waste management, quality control, cost analysis, and techniques for optimizing projects.
- Familiarity with construction principles, materials, and methods essential for successful project completion.
- Adept at interpreting project specifications, plans, and blueprints.
- Knowledge of design techniques, principles, and tools necessary for project execution.
- Understanding of promotional strategies and service sales.
- Ability to monitor processes and materials effectively.
