Job Overview

Western Specialty Contractors is seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Foreman to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and mitigate potential hazards on site, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of our skilled craftsmen, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of project plans, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, stakeholders, and team members to ensure that project goals are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring that expenses are in line with budgeted amounts.
  • Collaborate with our safety team to develop and implement safety protocols, ensuring that all employees are aware of and adhere to safety procedures.
  • Perform other duties as required, including assisting with training and development of team members.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in construction management or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction, with a focus on site supervision and project management.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Ability to work at heights, in extreme temperatures, and in other challenging environments.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
