Beverage Specialist Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Craft and serve a variety of cocktails to patrons while fulfilling drink requests.
  • Handle phone inquiries, manage reservations, and coordinate takeout orders.
  • Receive and process food and drink orders from customers, entering them into the system.
  • Deliver food and beverages, clear and reset tables for incoming guests.
  • Ensure the bar area is clean and well-stocked at all times.
  • Execute opening and closing tasks, including restocking and sanitation.
  • Assist with table service as required.
Physical Requirements:
Engage in activities such as adjusting, bending, lifting, pouring, and transporting items.

Cognitive Requirements:
Perform calculations, coordinate tasks, evaluate situations, and maintain organization.

Methods and Procedures:
  • Engage with guests, take their orders, communicate daily specials, and ensure efficient service.
  • Deliver food and drinks promptly, manage preparation times, and mix beverages accurately.
Expected Outcomes:
  • Skillfully mix drinks and accurately record food orders.
  • Guarantee timely delivery of food and beverages while upholding service excellence.
  • Manage interactions with inebriated guests professionally and provide attentive service.
Work Environment:
  • Potential for wet floors, varying temperatures, noise levels, and physical demands.
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods and navigate various workplace hazards.

Report to management and adhere to assigned responsibilities.
