About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CDL Driver to join our team at Latham Pool Products, Inc. As a CDL Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of fiberglass pools and other supplies to various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and Unload Operations: Safely and accurately load, unload, and deliver fiberglass pools and other supplies from the distribution center to various locations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure load is properly secured and maintain detailed driving and delivery logs.
  • Route Optimization: Stay on State permitted route and ensure timely deliveries, following delivery schedule and resting at appropriate times.
  • Communication and Reporting: Notify managers of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered, obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods, and collect payment for services when required.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to company rules and regulations, obey all applicable traffic laws, and drive according to weather/road conditions, making safety a priority at all times.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, must be 21 years of age, and have a minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • Licensing and Certifications: A valid Class A CDL Driver's License and previous oversize load experience preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities: Good communication and customer service skills, ability to work independently, and ability to read customer orders and follow safety regulations.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to regularly sit, walk, and stand, talk or hear, both in person and by telephone, and lift up to 50 pounds.
