About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Software Engineer to join our Robotics Platform team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our robotics middleware stack. This critical component is deployed to thousands of robots worldwide, and you will be instrumental in shaping its future. Your expertise in ROS1, ROS2, and CI/CD frameworks will enable us to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-quality, scalable robotics software middleware based on ROS1 and ROS2.
  • Establish and maintain efficient CI/CD infrastructure for deep automated integration testing.
  • Deploy new robotics platforms at scale, ensuring seamless integration with cloud-based build systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing development and troubleshooting.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience with ROS1, CI/CD frameworks, and C++, C, Python programming languages.
  • Demonstrable experience migrating robotics platforms from ROS1 to ROS2.
  • Strong understanding of Linux operating systems, networking, and system design types.
  • Proficient English written and verbal communication skills.


Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Location: Remote in US or Canada, or hybrid in Wilmington, MA or Nashua, NH offices. Alternatively, remote positions available in Spain, Portugal, Scotland, and England.
