We are seeking a skilled Procurement Agent to join our team in Twin Falls, Idaho. This is a permanent position that will report to the Regional Procurement Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Procurement Agent, you will be responsible for managing business unit-level projects and operational excellence initiatives. You will serve as the subject matter expert for planning material requirements and purchase order management, driving continuous improvement and implementing innovative processes. You will also ensure KPIs are met and report on supply challenges, lead S&OE meetings and support procurement activities, collaborate with Commercial teams and Supply-Chain Demand Planners to order direct materials, process orders, manage requirements, and communicate with planning, production, and customer service teams. Additionally, you will implement change projects to improve service levels and cost-effectiveness, and coordinate logistics for inbound materials and supplier returns.
Requirements:
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in procurement, preferably in the food manufacturing or pharmaceutical industries. You should have flexibility, adaptability, strong analytical skills, and project management abilities. A Bachelor's degree is suggested, and certifications such as APICS CSCP and ISM CPSM/CPSD are beneficial. You should also have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Procurement or Supply Chain roles, strong interpersonal and communication skills, experience in SAP or similar ERP systems, exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills, and advanced Excel skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead teams effectively is also required.
