Job Summary:

The Pharmacy Business Insights Manager plays a pivotal role in driving strategic data-driven decisions to enhance growth and optimize performance in the pharmacy department. This position is responsible for leading the analysis and interpretation of pharmacy data, collaborating with business leaders across Orlando Health, and providing management to pharmacy analysts.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with leaders and stakeholders to develop, enhance, and refine standard and ad-hoc pharmacy reports; identify and analyze trends to inform decision-making.
  • Support pharmacy leadership in researching and understanding industry trends to develop sustainable models for pharmacy care delivery.
  • Develop custom dashboards and reports utilizing advanced technologies and data visualization tools, including Power BI, SQL, and Microsoft Access.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support for pharmacy analysts.
  • Foster skill development among team members in utilizing business intelligence tools.
  • Develop guidelines and protocols to standardize data dictionaries, tables, and data entry processes within Pharmacy and align with the organization.
  • Conduct data validation and integrity checks to maintain data quality.
  • Assist users in ensuring their expectations are met during reviews of data.
  • Provide training as needed to users and stakeholders.
  • Maintain ongoing liaison with Ambulatory & Post Acute Services, IT, and the Enterprise Analytics team at Orlando Health.
  • Collaborate with vendors to address organizational analytics needs.
  • Maintain compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Power BI expertise required.
  • Database user interface, query, and reporting software experience required.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of SQL Server and related platforms and software required.
  • Experience with pharmacy-specific software or other EHR preferred.
  • Knowledge of analytical or statistical software preferred.
