The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting sports camps and ensuring adherence to established processes and protocols.
Job OverviewThis position entails planning, organizing, and executing athletic events. The Director will manage event logistics, supervise student workers, and support event operations by coordinating with various stakeholders. Responsibilities include overseeing core event functions and assisting in the execution of athletic events, which encompass varsity competitions, sports camps, and other assigned activities.
Key Responsibilities1. Oversee all aspects of events for designated sports, including crowd management, parking arrangements, and credentialing.
2. Conduct regular operational meetings for each event.
3. Assist in the planning and execution of all championship events.
4. Collaborate with facilities management to ensure venues are ready for competition.
5. Implement marketing strategies for sports camps and manage communication between coaches, staff, and participants.
6. Support event setup, breakdown, registration, inventory management, scheduling, and website operations for camps.
7. Assess the effectiveness of sports camps and event management processes.
Physical RequirementsMust be capable of sitting or standing for extended periods. Ability to lift equipment or supplies weighing up to 50 pounds is necessary.
