Position Overview:
The Part-Time Marketing Project Coordinator will assist the marketing and communications director in crafting and implementing marketing strategies. This role involves managing social media platforms, generating compelling content, and evaluating campaign performance metrics.
The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual with excellent communication abilities and a strong enthusiasm for marketing.Primary Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate in the development and execution of marketing initiatives, encompassing digital, social media, email, and traditional advertising.
2. Create and schedule engaging content for various social media channels (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn).
3. Oversee the creation of marketing collateral such as brochures, flyers, and event signage.
4. Regularly update the company website with relevant and fresh content.
5. Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of social media campaigns.
6. Assist in organizing and promoting events, both virtual and in-person.
7. Provide administrative support to the marketing team as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline (or currently pursuing one).
- Demonstrated experience in a marketing capacity or internship.
- Solid understanding of digital marketing and social media channels.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with marketing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Hootsuite).
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong organizational capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Google Analytics and content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp).
- Basic graphic design proficiency.
Work Schedule:
This is a part-time remote position, requiring approximately 20 hours per week.
