Position Overview:
The Vice President and Chief Operations Officer is responsible for overseeing the operational management of MHCA's facilities and programs. This role involves fulfilling the management service agreement with affiliated non-profit entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to establish performance objectives and develop strategies for organizational growth and financial success.
- Represent MHCA to governmental bodies, advocacy groups, and the community, potentially serving on the Board of Directors.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of five years of executive-level experience in healthcare management, preferably in behavioral health settings.
- Proven expertise in managing inpatient or residential treatment services across diverse populations.
- Strong strategic thinking abilities paired with financial management skills, including budgeting and report generation.
Knowledge Requirements:
- Familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to behavioral health and social services.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong analytical and negotiation capabilities.
Educational Background:
- A Master's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Public Administration, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
Compensation:
The anticipated salary for this position ranges from $275,000 to $350,000, based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
