As a Liaison Officer with Deaconess, you will serve as a key point of contact between law enforcement and our Emergency Department. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate the functions of Law Enforcement Officers (LEO) stationed at the triage desk, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration 24/7.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between law enforcement and the Emergency Department, facilitating effective communication and coordination.
- Coordinate the activities of LEOs stationed at the triage desk, ensuring they are aware of departmental policies and procedures.
- Provide maximum visibility and support to LEOs, promoting a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Collaborate with departmental stakeholders to develop and implement strategies for improving emergency department operations.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and policies affecting law enforcement and emergency department operations.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You should also have a strong understanding of law enforcement procedures and protocols, as well as experience working in a healthcare setting.
