Key Responsibilities- Project Oversight: Supervise all on-site construction activities, including scheduling, planning, and coordinating work to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards.
- Team Management: Lead and manage on-site construction teams, including subcontractors and laborers, to foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Communication: Coordinate and communicate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and compliance with building codes and standards.
- Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues or deficiencies promptly, ensuring minimal disruptions to project timelines.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of work performed and inspections conducted, as well as accurate project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.
- Education: A minimum of a high school diploma, with a preference for a four-year degree in a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in residential construction or a related field, with a thorough knowledge of all aspects of residential projects, including applicable building codes, OSHA regulations, and governing standards.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Office, Project, plan take-offs, project budgets, and estimating, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to operate general office equipment, communicate effectively, and perform physical tasks as required by the role.
