The Overnight Closer will be responsible for creating a positive member experience by providing exceptional customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests. This role requires a high level of energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for fitness and health.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to members, prospective members, and guests
- Handle all front desk related activities, including answering phones, checking members into the system, and facilitating new member sign-ups
- Facilitate needed updates to member accounts and respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Assist in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the club
- Close shift for that business day and create a bank deposit for the next day
- Customer service background preferred
- Basic computer proficiency
- A passion for fitness and health
- Upbeat and positive attitude
- Punctuality and reliability are a must
- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co-workers
- Strong listening skills and the ability to empathize and problem solve
- Diplomacy in all interactions and the use of appropriate behavior and language
- High School diploma/GED equivalent required
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Continual standing and walking during shift
- Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift
- Ability to work 3rd shift (overnights)
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
- Will occasionally encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
$14.00 per hour
