The Managed Long Term Care Sales Specialist plays a crucial role in educating and enrolling individuals eligible for Medicaid into our Managed Long Term Care offerings. This position involves identifying potential consumers, articulating product features, and ensuring adherence to relevant policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Educate and enroll Medicaid-eligible individuals in the MetroPlusHealth Managed Long Term Care offerings.
  • Identify eligible consumers through various outreach methods.
  • Understand and implement policies and procedures regarding product disclosures and enrollment.
  • Maintain knowledge of services available to Medicaid consumers.
  • Promote the services offered by the Plan and provide insights on product features and advantages.
  • Collaborate with various agencies to assist consumers throughout the enrollment process.
  • Conduct presentations and engage in marketing initiatives.
  • Build relationships with providers and community organizations.
  • Uphold the goals and values of the organization.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED; College Degree preferred.
  • 2-3 years of Sales experience required.
  • Experience in Managed Long Term Care preferred.
  • Valid NYS Driver's License is advantageous.

Licensure and/or Certification Required

  • New York State Life, Accident, and Health Insurance Agent License.
