Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Director to oversee the upkeep of our facilities at Healthcare Nursing Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities meet current federal, state, and local standards for safety, cleanliness, and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures to ensure the functionality of heating and plumbing systems.
- Manage a team of maintenance staff to perform repairs, refurbishments, and cleaning tasks.
- Conduct regular quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure they meet standards.
- Maintain inventory and equipment, and ensure proper storage.
- Perform general maintenance tasks, including landscaping, painting, and carpentry.
- Clean and assist with upkeep of facility.
- Upkeep of grounds, including lawn care and snow ice removal.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum 18 years of age required, HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 2 years of related work experience required in a long-term skilled nursing or hospital setting.
- Basic knowledge of tools and their use.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, and painting skills.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record required.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions required.
