Key Responsibilities:
  • As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining product excellence, dependability, and adherence to regulatory standards throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Utilizing your technical knowledge and experience, you will facilitate quality assurance processes, promote enhancements in procedures, and assist in the creation and execution of quality management frameworks.

Core Duties:
  • Support the establishment and execution of quality management frameworks (QMF), including guidelines, processes, standards, and documentation, to ensure alignment with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
  • Engage in product development and design control initiatives, including risk assessment, design verification/validation, and change management, to guarantee product quality and regulatory adherence.
  • Conduct investigations into root causes, failure analysis, and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) measures to resolve quality challenges, non-conformities, and customer feedback.
  • Execute quality engineering tasks, including statistical evaluations, process capability assessments, and experimental design (DOE), to enhance processes and elevate product quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, and customer support, to address quality challenges, implement corrective measures, and foster continuous improvement efforts.
  • Lead and participate in internal and external audits, inspections, and regulatory evaluations to ensure compliance with quality benchmarks, regulations, and client expectations.
  • Offer technical support and direction to manufacturing teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline.
  • 3-6 years of experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, or a related field, ideally within a regulated sector such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or aerospace.
  • In-depth understanding of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools, including statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and risk management.
  • Familiarity with quality management frameworks (QMF) and regulatory standards, such as ISO 13485, FDA QSR, and EU MDR.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab) and quality engineering methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the aptitude to dissect complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional certification in quality engineering or related fields (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, Six Sigma Green Belt).
  • Experience with risk management techniques (e.g., FMEA, Hazard Analysis).
  • Familiarity with validation and verification processes and protocols.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools for process enhancement.
  • Prior experience with quality management software/systems (e.g., TrackWise, MasterControl).
  • Programming experience.
