Overview

We specialize in comprehensive structural engineering planning and design services, including structural assessments and forensics investigations. Our engineers have extensive experience and knowledge of structural engineering services for education, commercial, religious, healthcare, sports & entertainment, hospitality, retail, and federal/government sectors.

About the Role

This Senior Structural Project Manager will lead the structural team in engineering and drafting tasks, providing structural design expertise to project members. You'll oversee project coordination internally and externally with other disciplines, ensuring seamless collaboration with architecture, MEP, and more.

  • Develop and implement structural design strategies that meet project schedules and budgets.
  • Coordinate design processes to ensure completion of construction documents.
  • Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and manage change proposals and orders.
  • Effectively communicate design and coordination details to team members through reports and email correspondence.

In this role, you'll also conduct site observations and walks during construction phases, producing detailed reports based on observations.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with a Structural emphasis; Master's degree preferred.
  • Structural Engineering license (S.E.) required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive structural engineering experience.
  • Three or more years of leadership experience in multi-discipline project teams preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Building Codes and design codes.
  • Experience in K-12 project experience required.
  • Proficiency in structural engineering software and office tools such as ETABS, SAFE, RISA, RAM, ENERCALC, Excel, and Bluebeam.
