  • Team Leadership: Supervise and direct support staff, providing guidance and training as needed to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Assist with daily cleaning duties and maintain the kitchen and dining areas in a clean and safe manner.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are maintained and that stock levels are adequate.
  • Reporting: Report any hazardous conditions or equipment to the Food Service Director immediately.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • Certification: SERVSAFE Certified.
  • Experience: Cooking background in a long-term care facility and/or culinary education preferred.
  • Skills: Knowledge of food sanitation and batch cooking.
