POSITION SUMMARY
The Lead AV Technician role at Sound Investment AV is pivotal in ensuring that all elements of the Production Department function cohesively to deliver exceptional service to our clients. This position is accountable to the Production Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engage with clients and the sales team to clarify production requirements
- Specify lighting, audio, and video systems tailored for events
- Employ Vectorworks to illustrate technical configurations
- Coordinate internal and external resources for event execution
- Arrange all labor and logistical support for assigned events
- Collaborate with the production team to support all projects
- Supervise and guide all teams from setup to breakdown
- Manage multiple projects and client accounts simultaneously
- Ensure quality control over event delivery to achieve client satisfaction
- Uphold company standards, policies, and procedures
DESIRED QUALITIES
- In-depth knowledge of event technology and industry practices
- Proactive individual capable of thriving in both corporate and entrepreneurial environments
- Proven track record of effectively managing teams of ten or more
- Direct experience with venues in the Chicago area
- Established technical contacts within the event production sector
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- At least 5 years of experience in event production account management or project management
- Demonstrated effectiveness across all aspects of event production
COMPENSATION PACKAGE
A comprehensive compensation package, including salary, commissions, medical and dental benefits, vacation, and holidays, will be provided.
