Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Technician I to join our team at Agiliti Health, Inc. in Madison, Wisconsin. As a Biomedical Technician I, you will be responsible for conducting cost-effective maintenance on medical equipment, ensuring it is functioning properly and meeting customer needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct equipment inspection, maintenance, calibration, and repair service on various medical devices.
  • Complete all paperwork and computer data entry accurately and promptly to ensure complete documentation for billing and regulatory compliance.
  • Communicate with clinical staff on equipment features, functionality, and other related topics.
Requirements
  • An associate degree in electronics, mechanical engineering, or biomedical equipment technology, or equivalent military training or Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) certification.
  • Basic computer skills, including understanding of computer networks and equipment interaction.
  • A valid, unrestricted driver's license and a safe driving record based on Agiliti policies.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as emergency off-hours as needed to support a 24/7 schedule.
  • Willingness to travel periodically to support business needs.
  • Ability to lift, push, and/or pull up to 75 pounds, and often bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
